Golf at El Valle Golf Resort
Arguably the finest desert links course in all of Europe, this superb 18 hole par 71 Jack Nicklaus designed golf course is fast becoming "the" must play course in southern Spain.
Situated in a beautiful natural desert valley, it is routed in a "core" format that groups several holes together whilst keeping the surrounding development on the perimeter. This means many holes border other holes and not houses creating a more open and natural golfing experience.
Rather than length, the course relies on subtle strategic elements to challenge golfers. This course puts a premium on accuracy, not power and favours the intelligent player who can manage his or her game.

The course signature 11th hole is particularly worthy of note.
This spectacular par 4 tees off from what seems like the top of the world. Take a moment to take in the panoramic views of the entire course and resort, (on a clear day you can even see down to the Mar Menor sea) before tackling the tricky dogleg shot over desert rough and hopefully onto the green.
The contrast of sweeping fairways, lush greens, dramatic mountain backdrop, rugged landscape as well as the many species of native shrubs, grasses desert plants and other features including two large lakes and many elaborate streams and waterfalls, gives this course a unique character unlike any other.

The Nicklaus Golf Trail currently includes El Valle, La Torre, Hacienda Riquelme. The excellent designs ensure fun for all players, whether novice or expert and a different challenge every day.
All courses are within 20 minutes drive of another and are all linked with the free luxury shuttle service. When complete it will offer the most exciting and comprehensive golfing experience in Europe.

We will provide you with resident discount forms allowing you to benefit from the normal tariffs on all Polaris World golf courses.
